US Returns

All terms used but not defined herein shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Lux Terms which is incorporated herein by reference.

Sales Policy

We hold the right to refuse, alter or change a sale for any customer.

Return Policy

Returning Products within 30 Days of Purchase:

Boards:

If you are not satisfied with your board purchase through the Lux website, you may return the product within thirty (30) days from the date of the delivery for a partial refund if the board has not been ridden*. All boards returns will be subject to a $199 restock fee. Additional fees will be added if the boards were purchased through Affirm. The company will provide a refund for the cost of the Product(s) not including any shipping charges within thirty (30) days. The Product(s) must not be used or show any signs of damages as determined in our sole discretion. Follow these steps to return the eligible Product(s):

    1. Contact Lux customer service through the board support or customerservice@luxlongboards.com to          initiate the return process.

    2. Create a shipping label addressed to "Lux Returns"

    3. Package the Products in original packaging or ensure the product is sufficiently protected and will              not be damaged in shipping as Lux will not be held responsible for shipping damage.    

    4. Once the Products are received and verified, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of          your refund.

    5. The Product(s) must be received by Lux within 30 days of the date that the Product(s) was delivered.

                Lux is not responsible for recovering the Product(s) from you or any third-parties which includes and                    is not limited to shippers. If any delays are caused by a third part or you, including shippers, you                          acknowledge and agree that if Lux does not receive the returned Product(s) within 30 days of the                        date that we delivered the Product(s), you will not be entitled to a refund.

        *No returns are accepted on special/ limited edition boards. All sales are final  

Apparel:

If you are not satisfied with your Apparel purchase which includes but is not to limited to helmets, board accessories, board parts and clothing through the Lux website, you may return the product within thirty (30) days from the date of the delivery for a full refund if the product is unused. All Apparel returns will be subject to a restock fee. Company will provide a refund for the cost of the Product(s) not including any shipping charges within thirty (30) days. The Product(s) must not be used or show any signs of damages as determined in our sole discretion. Follow these steps to return the eligible Product(s):

    1. Contact Lux customer service through the board support or customerservice@luxlongboards.com to          initiate the return process.

    2. Create a shipping label addressed to "Lux Returns"

Returning Products for Warranty Claims:

Your Products are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of six (6) months from the date of shipment. If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, Lux will, at its option, repair the affected Products at no charge using new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, This warranty excludes normal depletion of consumable parts unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship, and damage resulting from abuse, accident, modifications, unauthorized repairs, neglect, abuse, water damage, or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship. No other person is authorized to modify this limited warranty.

 

Some states and countries do not allow limitations on how long such warranties, conditions, and/or implied terms may last, so the limitation described above may not apply to you. This warranty is offered in addition to rights and remedies conveyed by consumer protection laws and regulations that cannot be statutorily waived, and does not affect your applicable statutory rights.

The costs/inconvenience caused by the loss of use of the product, is not covered whilst the warranty procedure takes place. The warranty for replacement components will be based on the date of delivery. Under no circumstance will a replacement component have a warranty date different than the original date of delivery. If a replacement is necessary due to a defect in materials and/or workmanship, then upon return to Lux, the component will be replaced during the warranty period.


Lux will have no obligation under this limited warranty in the event the product is damaged or destroyed as a result of any of the following events: component use on a non Lux product, damage or destruction by abuse; collision; theft; improper maintenance or mishandling of the product; natural forces such as wind, lightning, hail, etc.; any willful or negligent act; penetration, or opening of the product casings in any manner. Replacement will be honored only by Lux.


This is Lux exclusive warranty. No party is granted express or implied authority to change or annul this warranty in any manner. Implied warranty including that of merchant-ability and fitness for a particular purpose are expressly limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Lux disclaims any liability for special, incidental or consequential damages.


This warranty is not meant to suggest or imply that the products cannot be broken or will last forever. It does mean that the product is covered subject to the terms of the warranty. This warranty applies only to the original Buyer of the product and is not transferable to subsequent owners or any other party. This warranty is void if the product is subjected to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, an accident or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use, at the sole discretion of Lux.


Warranty Exclusions.


This warranty does not cover:


• water damage.
• normal wear and tear
• damage or failure from abuse, neglect, misuse, or accident
• damage from stunt riding, ramp jumping, acrobatics, competitive events or any activity that is not consistent with the intended use of the product
• damages resulting from improper charging of the battery pack or use of any charger not supplied by Lux                                                                        
•The Battery, like all lithium-ion batteries, will experience gradual energy or power loss with time and use. Loss of Battery energy or power over time or due to or resulting from Battery usage, is not covered under Warranty. 

•The deck and bearings are not warrantied after a period of 2 months as it is a part subjected to wear and tear.
• installation of any parts, accessories, or electrical component(s) not originally intended for or compatible with the product as sold, or any modification of the frame or any component(s) originally supplied; tires, lights, motors, battery packs, displays, or vehicle controllers that have been opened for any purpose whatsoever, other than by Lux.
• All warranties are void if the product is used for any purpose other than the reasonable intended use of the product. Additionally, this warranty does not cover damage associated with commercial use.
• Aftermarket components or modifications
All implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to that of the express warranties stated above.

Lux Longboards reserves the final right to explain the details of above policy

 

Follow these steps to return Products with respect to a warranty claim during the Warranty Period:

  1. Contact our Support team to initiate the warranty service process through the board support tab and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a pre-paid shipping label.

  2. Pack the Products in original packaging or mail in a sturdy box to ensure the Products will be returned without damage. Be sure to write the RMA number on the packaging.

  3. Once the Products are received and fixed, you will receive an email detailing the warranty service along with the return shipment’s tracking number.
